Become a School & Educational Leader

The Master of Education in School Leadership and School Leadership Certificate prepare educators to become school and educational leaders. Grounded in the Utah Effective Leadership Standards, the program equips educators with the skills needed to lead today’s schools. Graduates who successfully complete the program are recommended for a School Leadership license through the Utah State Board of Education.

This virtual program provides a combination of fully online courses and online courses with synchronous Zoom meetings starting no earlier than 4:30 pm Mountain Time. The competency-based internship is integrated into the coursework, requiring students to gain experience in both elementary and secondary settings, which may include their current school. Courses can be taken in nearly any order, allowing students to complete the program in 3 to 5 semesters.
