Our career fairs provide the perfect opportunity to network and interact with various experienced professionals from several different industries. Come learn from them. February Film Fest Week 1: Food Sovereignty with GATHER (2020)

Join us for February Film Fest 2026! This event is a three-week series of documentary screenings focused on community sustainability. Week 1 focuses on food sovereignty with the 2020 film GATHER. This film follows the stories of Native Americans on the front lines of a growing movement to reconnect with spiritual and cultural identities that were devastated by genocide. Snacks provided!
Legacy of Val Day of Service: Accessible Art Activity with Jump the Moon

Help us honor the legacy of Val Christensen with an art activity at Jump the Moon Art Studio & Gallery. Volunteers will lend a hand with art activities alongside community artists of ALL abilities. Optional carpool, limited spots available (see registration information below). Jump the Moon is an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization providing art making opportunities for individuals and other nonprofit groups serving people of all abilities.

Take in the stunning natural beauty and explore the globe in another collection of the world’s greatest mountain and adventure films from the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, coming to the Ellen Eccles Theatre in Logan, Utah. Join us Thursday, February 5th and Friday, February 6th at 7pm each night. Different films will be shown each night - don't miss out! Ticket prices are $24 per night or $40 for both nights. USU students get 25% off the one night price. 10% off for military/ first responders. Tickets can be purchased at cachearts.org once live.

Nature-based Mental Health Gathering. Hosted by USU Counseling and Prevention Services. Meet outside at Old Main Hill Flagpole. Dress warm. We'll begin with a short outdoor experience, then move inside the TSC to a CAPS meeting space.

Intro Backcountry Ski Tour
Recreation
Come grab some backcountry turns with us! We will venture into the Bear River backcountry to seek out snow that you can't get to on a ski lift. Learn some of the basics of backcountry travel and safety. No backcountry experience is required but you must be comfortable riding black diamond resort terrain. Participants must be prepared for strenuous hiking. Backcountry touring skis or splitboard with skins are required and available to rent for an additional $10+tax for trip participants. NO SNOWSHOES. Trip cost includes transportation, avalanche beacon, shovel, probe and student leadership.
