Week 2 focuses on sustainable development with the 2020 film 2040. Practical solutions to environmental concerns are addressed with the hope that the filmmaker's daughter, 21 years old in the year 2040, will face a hopeful future. Snacks provided!

Learn how to properly prepare and pack your backpack for a safe and comfortable hiking adventure, including essential gear, smart weight distribution, and weather-ready planning. We’ll also touch on awareness of environmental hazards such as heat, storms, wildlife, and terrain, so you can make informed decisions on the trail. Hike smarter, safer, and with confidence.
