February Food & Film Fest is an annual event focusing on reducing waste and hunger. Join us in for a short film, a clothing swap with True Blue Reuse & Repair, and soup; organized in partnership with USUSA's annual Sweater Swap.* Remember to help reduce waste and bring your bowls and utensils! *Event is free, but ticket is required for USUSA's Sweater Swap. No ticket needed for clothing swap or short film.

Legacy of Val Day of Service: The Fuller Center
Student Activities
Join the Christensen Office of Service and Sustainability as we lend a hand at the Fuller Center for Housing's thrift store. This organization's thrift store specializes in building materials-- think like a mash up of Home Depot and Goodwill. We will be sorting donations and tidying the store, making the products look great so that customers can find what they're looking for. Proceeds from the thrift store go to fund critical home repairs for Cache Valley community members with low incomes. The thrift store also diverts usable materials from the landfill! We plan to be indoors, but there's a chance that some tasks will take place outside, so dress for the weather. Close-toed shoes are a good option, since donations can be sharp or heavy. Volunteer Tutors for Athletics United
Student Activities
Assist and mentor middle school and high school students from refugee and immigrant backgrounds with community partner Athletics United. You'll help with homework, studying, and other activities. All activities will be supervised. Sign up through AggiePulse (link provided) for details you'll need to know at the beginning of the week of your scheduled session. Address provided upon sign-up.
