Red Cross Lifeguarding Course
Recreation
American Red Cross certification course for Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer held at the Aggie Recreation Center and HPER Pools at USU. The course will run from June 1st through the 3rd. Upon successful completion of a skills pretest* participants will participate in both classroom and water training sessions. In order to become certified, participants must attend and participate in all class sessions, successfully complete all skill assessments, and receive 80% or better on all final written exams

Get certified with our American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid course at Utah State University. Leave with the skills and certification to feel confident in responding to emergency situations. Spots are limited, so register to secure a spot.
Beginner Mountain Biking Trip

New to mountain biking? Want to learn riding techniques and improve your skills? Come hit the trail with us as we spend a few hours riding a beginner-friendly trail while working on body position, bike function and other fundamental mountain biking techniques. Trip cost includes a bike rental (pending availability), transportation and student leadership.

Cutler Marsh Canoeing with Stokes Naturalist

Come and join us for a few morning hours canoeing on Cutler Marsh with a Master Naturalist from Stokes Nature Center. We will meet bright and early and travel to Cutler Marsh to enjoy the quiet morning hours on the water. Learn about the marsh flora and fauna from the naturalist. Bring your binoculars and bird book and see what you can spot. Transportation, canoeing equipment and student leadership will be provided. Participants must be able to swim.
