Lake Powell Kayaking
Recreation
We are heading down south to the amazing red rock and blue waters of Lake Powell to explore some of its many side canyons in sea kayaks. We will pack our kayaks with our gear and spend two nights camping on the lake. Participants must be able to swim and comfortable in open water. Trip cost includes sales tax, food, transportation, kayak equipment, tent, sleeping bag, pad and student leadership.

Front & Center Webinar: Conversational Space-Making: A Student Resource for Transforming Conflict. The Conversational Space-Makers Program supports students as they navigate some of the difficult conflicts and challenges that they face. In this session Clair Canfield will explain how this program was developed, the foundational principles that guide it, and how students can access and benefit from this service.
James & Alecia Porras Latinx Voices Series

This event promotes multicultural awareness and allows speakers to share unique perceptions related to their experiences. Of course, we'll have some light refreshments served afterward. Sign up to assist and mentor middle school and high school age students who come from refugee backgrounds. You'll be helping with homework, studying, and other activities. All activities will be supervised. You'll receive a message from Mayu Mecham with details you'll need to know at the beginning of the week of your scheduled session. Volunteer with True Blue Reuse & Repair

Volunteers will be helping to sort clothing by type and size, and also selecting items for future clothing swaps and pop-up shops at the True Blue Reuse & Repair storage trailer. The trailer is located behind the Student Living Center Dorms, just east of Summit Hall.
Intramural 3v3 Soccer Tournament
Recreation
Get your team together and ready to compete in our Intramural 3v3 indoor soccer tournament. Registration is all done in the Fusion Play app and will open on October 28th and close on November 5th. Free with an IM membership or just $15 with a single sports pass.
Flores Family Community Garden End of Season Service
Special Event
Lend a hand at the Flores Family Community Garden. The work will be muddy and dirty, so dress accordingly! We'll be moving horse panels, filling raised beds, building a greenhouse, cutting logs, and constructing a hay shelter. Bring work gloves, earplugs, and protective eyewear if you have it! We'll have a small collection of work gloves that you can borrow from. Registration necessary as lunch will be provided--see AggiePulse link.
USU Intercollegiate Day of Service - Zootah Zoo Lights Prep
Special Event
On November 9, 2024, Utah State will be participating in Intercollegiate Day of Service by volunteering at Zootah in Logan. We will be helping Zootah set up lights for their annual Zootah Zoo Lights. We will be there from 1-3pm. Pizza will be provided and free shirts for the first 50 people there! We can't wait to see you there! Pre-registering is helpful, please see AggiePulse link.
