Free Nutrition Workshop

Information/Orientation

Join us for our free Nutrition Workshop at the ARC nutrition center. Topics range from discussions on cooking for one, adding more plant proteins to your diet, or meal planning. Presentations are given by USU students where you'll receive great information, recipes, and ways to implement topics into your daily life. Two presentations will be offered, one at 3pm another to follow at 4pm. Registration required, spots are limited.

Full Moon Snowshoe Hike

Recreation

Come spend an evening snowshoeing under the glow of a full moon. Be sure to dress warm for the cooler temperatures after dark. No snowshoeing experience is necessary, beginners are most welcome. Participants must be prepared for moderate physical activity in a winter environment. Trip cost includes snowshoe rental and transportation.

Intro Backcountry Ski Tour

Recreation

Come grab some backcountry turns with us! We will venture into the Bear River backcountry to seek out snow that you can't get to on a ski lift. Learn some of the basics of backcountry travel and safety. No backcountry experience is required but you must be comfortable riding double blue to black diamond resort terrain. Participants must be prepared for strenuous hiking. Backcountry touring skis or split board with skins are required and available to rent for an additional $10+tax for trip participants. NO SNOWSHOES. Trip cost includes transportation, avalanche beacon, shovel, probe and student leadership.

2025 MLK Day of Service

Special Event

Honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in different community engagement projects with the Christensen Office of Service & Sustainability! Choose from projects taking place on Saturday, January 18th and Monday, January 20th. Community partners include Athletics United, WAB Warming Center, Utah Conservation Corps, and The Family Place. Register through AggiePulse, link provided. Carpooling will be available if requested during registration.
