City of Rocks Climbing

We are heading north across the border to the City of Rocks National Preserve to climb and camp. We will spend our days exploring and climbing some of the amazing routes in the City and our evenings around the camp fire. No climbing experience is necessary for this trip and all abilities are welcome. Participants must be prepared for overnight camping, moderate hiking and heights. The trip cost includes transportation, food, camping fees, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent, group climbing equipment and shoes, helmet and harness. Space is limited, so register today!

We are heading up to Cataract Canyon for a week of rafting and camping. We will spend nights around the fire and raft the thrilling rapids of the River. Participants must be able to swim. Trip cost includes food, transportation, permit fees, rafting equipment, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad and student leadership.
Cooking Demo
Recreation
Cooking demos are designed to educate, inspire, or promote new cooking skills, cuisines, or ingredients. Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Sciences (NDFS) students will provide you with nutrition information, culinary techniques, and recipe cards that you can take home. You will also have the chance to sample the dishes that are prepared!
Harvest Rescue
Student Activities
Harvest Rescue coordinates available ready-to-harvest produce from tree and garden owners with local volunteers to pick and donate the produce to organizations who can use it. Volunteers who harvest and pick produce are required to wear closed toed shoes and be respectful of the tree/land owners property. Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have adult supervision during sessions. Volunteers are permitted to take home a small portion of the harvested produce in appreciation for their support.

See the beauty of Logan Canyon under the moon's light. Be sure to bring your hiking shoes, water bottle, headlamp, some snacks for the trail and warm clothes for the cooler nighttime temperatures

Aggie First Scholars Fall Clothing Swap

In partnership with Blue Reuse, Aggie First Scholars is excited to host our second annual Fall Clothing Swap! Ready for a fresh look? Clean out your closet and trade for something new at the TSC Patio. Donations will be accepted on the day of the swap. This year, we’re introducing a professional attire rack. Faculty and staff who wish to donate blazers, ties, slacks, or other professional clothing may drop them off in TSC 242G before the event or bring them the day of the swap.

The USU Farmers Market brings community members together to purchase locally-made and locally-grown food, crafts and other products. Students are able to utilize the Double Your Bucks program which allows active USU students to double their money in dollar increments up to $6.00. Double Your Bucks tokens may only be used in the Market towards produce and select food items.
