Cooking Demo

Recreation

Cooking demos are designed to educate, inspire, or promote new cooking skills, cuisines, or ingredients. Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Sciences (NDFS) students will provide you with nutrition information, culinary techniques, and recipe cards that you can take home. You will also have the chance to sample the dishes that are prepared!

Aggie First Scholars' Annual Blanket Tying Extravaganza

Take a break from the finals grind and join Aggie First Scholars in tying fleece blankets for the Cache Refugee and Immigration Center (CRIC)! Our goal is to tie 60 blankets for donation. Meet us in the ABLE Center located on the second floor of the Merrill Cazier Library by the New Books Lounge

Know Before You Go: Avalanche Awareness Presentation

Whether you are a sledder, skier, snowboarder, snowshoer or into extreme snow angels, you need to know about avalanches. Join Outdoor Programs for a FREE Know Before You Go avalanche awareness presentation with the Utah Avalanche Center at the Aggie Recreation Center (ARC). We'll have tables with community partners available to chat and answer questions before the presentation starts as well.

Distribute Flyers with Community Rakes & Shovels

Student Activities

Community Rakes & Shovels needs your help to find volunteers in The Springs! This program provides free shoveling services to senior citizens and community members with disabilities in Cache Valley throughout the winter months. The community need has outgrown the current student volunteer team, and we need help reaching out to the larger community. Join us Saturday, 12/6/25 to distribute flyers to neighbors 10AM-11AM. We’ll meet at the University Inn at 9:45am and provide instructions after we meet. Sign up to volunteer by clicking the link below.
