Pop-Up Clothing Swap

Student Activities

Cut down on material consumption and waste while saving money at this Pop-Up hosted by True Blue Reuse & Repair, Student Sustainability Club, and Residence Life! Clothing swaps are the perfect way to give a new life to those clothes hiding in the back of your closet, to revamp your look with something new-to-you, and to give back to the Aggie family. Items will be available for swapping, for free, and some items for purchase.

Community Rakes & Shovels Leaf Raking Sessions

Student Activities

Volunteer once, twice, or many times over the coming months! Upon registering, volunteers will be matched with a resident who has requested services.

This season, we are arranging raking shifts that volunteer can sign up for. We will be going out on a regular basis after the leaves start falling. After submitting your registration form, we will give you access to the shifts. Are you part of a club or group that is looking for a service project? Feel free to share the shifts with them too!

Community Rakes & Shovels was created in response to needs expressed by community members. The Christensen Office of Service & Sustainability coordinates requests for services from local senior citizens and community member with disabilities while connecting them to volunteers who would like to provide raking or snow shoveling services throughout the fall and winter.

ABC: Reducing Food Waste with Harvest Extend

Student Activities

Come to this beginner-friendly service event hosted by Aggies Building Community in partnership with USU Harvest Extend! We will focus on reducing food waste by helping to make applesauce and/or fruit leather. Meet in the Nutrition and Food Sciences (NFS) research kitchen on November 21 from 5pm-7pm. Students who come can learn about food waste and have fun trying something new! Register at the link provided below. *No prior experience is needed.* Experienced participants will be there to guide us.
