Garden Days with Utah Conservation Corps
Student Activities
Come get your hands in the dirt with Utah Conservation Corps garden days! Help prep and maintain the garden for the growing season. UCC produce is donated to local food security efforts.
You will be working outside, so be sure to dress accordingly. Water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and work gloves recommended.
The address is 1483 E Canyon Road. The entrance to UCC is just east of the Herm’s parking lot. You can proceed past the No Trespassing sign and park in the crew member parking along the road where the pavement ends.
Harvest Rescue: Picking Cherries
Student Activities
Harvest Rescue coordinates available ready-to-harvest produce from tree and garden owners with local volunteers to pick and donate the produce to organizations who can use it. Volunteers who harvest and pick produce are required to wear closed toed shoes and be respectful of the tree/land owners property. Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have adult supervision during sessions. Volunteers are permitted to take home a small portion of the harvested produce in appreciation for their support.
