Volunteer tutors for Athletics United kids
Special Event
Sign up to assist and mentor middle school and high school age students who come from refugee backgrounds. You'll be helping with homework, studying, and other activities. All activities will be supervised. You'll receive a message from Mayu Mecham with details you'll need to know at the beginning of the week of your scheduled session. Cranksgiving
Special Event
Cranksgiving is a national annual bike race/food drive/scavenger hunt/party on bikes. After registering, you and your team of 2-4 people will meet at Aggie Blue Bikes (located at the junction of Military Science and the Fieldhouse) at 10am to receive instructions and a "manifesto" which will be your guide for the event. The manifesto will have a list of grocery stores to visit and a list of food items requested by the Cache Food Pantry. You and your team will plan a route, bike to the stores, and purchase the food on the list. There will also be bonus stops where you and your team must complete a challenge. Once you have everything, we will all meet at the Cache Food Pantry at 1pm to donate the food and for participants to get prizes. Registration for this event is free, but participants should anticipate spending upwards of $15 on groceries.
