American Red Cross Blood Drive

Special Event

The need for blood is constant, but only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Blood is essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. This lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. Garden Days with Utah Conservation Corps

Student Activities

Come get your hands in the dirt with Utah Conservation Corps garden days! Help prep and maintain the garden for the growing season. UCC produce is donated to local food security efforts. You will be working outside, so be sure to dress accordingly. Water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and work gloves recommended. The address is 1483 E Canyon Road. The entrance to UCC is just east of the Herm’s parking lot. You can proceed past the No Trespassing sign and park in the crew member parking along the road where the pavement ends.

Harvest Rescue: Picking Cherries

Student Activities

Harvest Rescue coordinates available ready-to-harvest produce from tree and garden owners with local volunteers to pick and donate the produce to organizations who can use it. Volunteers who harvest and pick produce are required to wear closed toed shoes and be respectful of the tree/land owners property. Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have adult supervision during sessions. Volunteers are permitted to take home a small portion of the harvested produce in appreciation for their support.

We are heading north across the border to the City of Rocks National Preserve to climb and camp. We will spend our days exploring and climbing some of the amazing routes in the City and our evenings around the camp fire. No climbing experience is necessary for this trip and all abilities are welcome. Participants must be prepared for overnight camping, moderate hiking and heights. The trip cost includes transportation, food, camping fees, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent, group climbing equipment and shoes, helmet and harness. Space is limited, so register today!

We are heading north across the border to the City of Rocks National Preserve to climb and camp. We will spend our days exploring and climbing some of the amazing routes in the City and our evenings around the camp fire. No climbing experience is necessary for this trip and all abilities are welcome. Participants must be prepared for overnight camping, moderate hiking and heights. The trip cost includes transportation, food, camping fees, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent, group climbing equipment and shoes, helmet and harness. Space is limited, so register today!
