Want to apply for scholarships but don’t have the time? Come learn about programs that will bring the scholarships to you! At this event you will be introduced to programs that find scholarships that you qualify for, can automatically input your information, and will tell you how likely you are to get selected! All USU Colleges will also be attending to teach you about the scholarships that are offered through your specific college. Want help with FAFSA? The financial aid office will also be there to get you all signed up before the deadline. Sandwiches, cookies, and drinks will be provided!

When we get quality sleep, we tend to overlook how important it is, but when we have poor quality sleep, we definitely know it. In this workshop you will learn more about the sleep process, healthy habits to promote quality sleep, and habits to avoid that may impact your sleep.

The info session will go into more depth about the trip will entail and what you can look forward to! Can't make this time, there will be another session on the same day at 6pm in the Outdoor Programs rental shop in the ARC.

USU HELPS: Helping Everyone Learn to Prevent Suicide
Workshop/Training
This training is for any members of USU community who want to assist other USU students in distress by reaching out and connecting them to right resources. The training will cover signs of psychological distress, warning signs of suicide, review of available mental health resources, and ways to reach out.

Advice for Girls: An All-Women Ski Film

Grab your favorite ski buddies and join us at the Eccles Conference Center Room 216 on November 15th at 7pm for a screening of Advice for Girls! It's free for students and $5 for the public. “Advice for Girls” puts a spotlight on the collective experience of women in the ski industry. The film showcases advice from three generations of women in skiing. Each generation reminds women and girls of all ages that they are worthy of success, allowed to take up space, and are extremely valuable to the ski industry. With an intersectional cast featuring all types of women – women of color, queer women, women with disabilities, and more – the crew hopes that everyone can find someone in the film to connect to.
Dreading Winter? Must-Know Hacks for Thriving, Part 2
Workshop/Training
In Part 2, of this workshop series on Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), learn the psychology of thriving in winter. We will help you to identify unhealthy thinking patterns that significantly contribute to SAD and shape them up! We will also learn classical conditioning principles and apply them to help you make a healthy and enjoyable Winter Plan. Cognitive therapy is an evidence-based approach to treating SAD and also very useful for those of us who just don't care much for winter!

Big Blue Boogie: The Remix 2023

Come join us on November 16th, 7:00-9:00 for a groovin’ good time playing Just Dance with us in the TSC Lounges! It will be neon EVERYWHERE, so wear your best neon attire so you’ll glow like a living just dance character! If you’ve got the guts, show off your dance skills for the school and lead everyone in all of favorite Just Dance songs. Come and boogie with big blue! See you there!
Turkey Trot 5k
Special Event
This is a fun run/walk 5k on Friday, November 17th at 4pm. Join us with your family and friends as we take you through our beautiful campus! Registration is $10! Students, log-in with your A# to get your discount price of $5. We will have awards for the top three female and male finishers. All participants will receive a reusable bag and race bib when you register and show up to the race. Also, we are collecting nonperishable food items to be donated to the Family Place! Please help bring items in for this great cause to help out our surrounding community!
Aggie Blue Bikes presents: Cranksgiving 2023
Fundraiser | Inclusive Excellence
Join Aggie Blue Bikes for our annual Cranksgiving race! Meet at Aggie Blue Bikes at 10am and ride to the Cache Food Pantry, stopping along the way at grocery stores to purchase food to donate, all powered by bicycles! Be sure to bring a bike, bags, and payment to purchase groceries. Grand prize is a FitBit, and additional prizes from Lucky Slice and other local shops.
Club Water Polo vs University of Utah and BYU

Come watch USU's Club Water Polo team as they take on the University of Utah and BYU on Saturday, November 18th from 1:30 - 5:30pm. The tournament will be located at the HPER Pools and is open to both students and community members.
