Lake Powell Kayaking Trip
Recreation
We are heading down south to the amazing red rock and blue waters of Lake Powell to explore some of its many side canyons in sea kayaks. We will pack our kayaks with our gear and spend two nights camping on the lake. Participants must be able to swim and comfortable in open water. Trip cost includes sales tax, food, transportation, kayak equipment, tent, sleeping bag, pad and student leadership.

Adults & Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Course

This is an American Red Cross course for certification in CPR, AED & First Aid. Register by October 8th. It will be held in the ARC Instructional Training Room from 4-6pm.
Women's Halloween Game Night

Celebrate a late Halloween at the eSports Center by playing games, watching a Halloween movie, and wearing your Halloween costume one last time. Activities will include free play for video games and board games, a movie screening, as well as snacks and candy! Women's Game Night is intended for marginalized genders to have a space to socialize and play games with no pressure! Dreading Winter? Must-Know Hacks for Thriving, Part 1
Workshop/Training
Approximately 20% of Americans are effected by Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD which is triggered by a lack of sunlight during the short, cold, dreary days of winter. People with SAD tend to over-sleep, but still feel groggy and sluggish, crave simple carbs and gain weight, and are sensitive to light deprivation the year-round. In Part 1, learn the biology of thriving in winter and how to use bright light therapy, the clear, evidence-based treatment of choice for SAD, as well as Vitamin D information, to help you through.
Mario Kart Tournament

Start your engines! Play in our Mario Kart Tournament on November 8th at 6pm at the eSports Center and claim the top spot - which will win you an IM Champ Shirt. It's free to join and please bring your own Switch and Game if you have it. The eSports Center is located in the old Distribution Center by Maverick Stadium.
Wizarding World Trivia Night

Join Campus Recreation and Intramurals for our Wizarding World Trivia Night. If you couldn't tell, the theme will be Harry Potter! The event will take place on Wednesday, November 8th at 6pm in the ARC in the MAC Gym. Registration runs on the Fusion Play app until November 6th. It's free with an IM Membership and $15 with a single sports pass.

Join the Disabled and Neurodiverse Aggies (DNA) club for a Smash Bros Tournament! This is an activity for anyone with any experience level with Smash Bros.
Come prepared for some serious fun, some tasty food, and the unbelievably enjoyable opportunity to connect with club members!
The DNA club is a safe space for students with disabilities of all backgrounds to be part of an inclusive community and connect with one another.

Used Outdoor Equipment and Gear Sale
Special Event
Looking for outdoor gear and equipment but don't want to drop a bunch of cash? Visit Outdoor Programs used equipment and gear sale on November 10th from noon-7pm. Get exclusive access as a USU student as the first 3 hours are only open to current USU students - just make sure to have your ID to get in. Gear will include everything from summer gear like bikes and hiking equipment to winter gear like skis and snowshoes. You won't want to miss out! It will be located at the Old OP Shop in the Distribution Center by Maverick Stadium.
Legacy of Val Day of Service: UCC Urban Community Farm
Special Event
Honor the legacy of Val Christensen by working outside on the community farm! The Utah Conservation Corps' Urban Community Farm grows fresh produce to donate to local food pantries. Make sure to wear warm clothes that are comfortable to work outside in, bring closed-toed shoes and maybe a hat. They will provide work gloves, so don't feel that you need to bring any, but you're welcome to. The address: 1483 Canyon Road, Logan UT 84321. It's right by the ropes course on The Island, above Herm's. Please ignore the no trespassing sign as you come in. There is parking after the first driveway and folks can walk up to the farm from there.
