Fall Break: City of Rocks Climbing Trip

We are heading north across the border to the City of Rocks National Preserve to climb and camp. We will spend our days exploring and climbing some of the amazing routes in the City and our evenings around the camp fire. No climbing experience is necessary for this trip and all abilities are welcome. Participants must be prepared for overnight camping, moderate hiking and heights. The trip cost includes transportation, food, camping fees, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent, group climbing equipment and shoes, helmet and harness. Space is limited, so register today!

Fall Break: Capitol Reef Camp & Hike
Recreation
We are heading out for a weekend of camping and hiking. During the day we will explore the beautiful red sand trails and slot canyons of Capitol Reef National Park. Then at night we will cook dinner together, hang by the campfire, and sleep under the stars. We are always hoping for sunshine and warmer weather, but everyone should be prepared for variable fall weather and moderate to strenuous physical activity.
Cooking Demo

Cooking demos are designed to educate, inspire, or promote new cooking skills, cuisines, or ingredients. Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Sciences (NDFS) students will provide you with nutrition information, culinary techniques, and recipe cards that you can take home. You will also have the chance to sample the dishes that are prepared!
Harvest Rescue

Harvest Rescue coordinates available ready-to-harvest produce from tree and garden owners with local volunteers to pick and donate the produce to organizations who can use it. Volunteers who harvest and pick produce are required to wear closed toed shoes and be respectful of the tree/land owners property. Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have adult supervision during sessions. Volunteers are permitted to take home a small portion of the harvested produce in appreciation for their support.
Community Rakes & Shovels Fall Kick-Off

Kick-off the 2025 season with Community Rakes & Shovels! Come enjoy games, friends, and snacks. Community Rakes & Shovels is a student-led program providing free leaf-raking and snow-shoveling services to elderly and disabled community members in Cache Valley. Come have some fun with other volunteers and bring your friends!

Come with the OP on a bikepacking trip! We will be working together to plan a route, rig up our bikes, and spend a night self supported in the Bear Rivers. Mountain bikes and gravel bikes will both work for the trip, and no need to have perfect gear. Be ready to ride bikes and learn a new way to adventure!
ARC 10-Year Celebration and Homecoming Tailgate

Let's party! The Aggie Recreation Center is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and it's homecoming week. We'll have games and prizes, facility tours, food at the tailgate, and open recreation. The open house will run from noon-4pm with the tailgate running outside by the Aggie Legacy Fields from 4-7pm. Everyone is welcome!
Feel Good Fridays with CARE

Feel Good Fridays are a space for students to learn about resources, build community, win prizes, and feel good! We will be hosting activities like friendship bracelet making, journaling, yoga and more!
