Alternative Spring Break: Animal Welfare
Student Activities
Make a difference during your Spring Break with an Alternative Break. Come with us to Kanab, UT to volunteer at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and Zion National Park, learning about animal welfare. We’ll also take time to explore the area’s stunning red-rock landscapes. Applicants who are accepted will commit to attending two meetings in advance of the alternative break to learn about the issue topic and the root causes of the work that they will do. MEETING DATES: February 25th & March 4th at 4-5:30pm in TSC
CPR/AED/First Aid Course
Information/Orientation
Get certified right at Utah State with our American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid course on March 18th from 5-7:30pm. You'll leave with the tools and knowledge and be fully certified upon successful completion.
SAAVI's Dating Game
Special Event
Join us in watching SAAVI's Dating Game! Five USU contestants will compete for the hearts of an eligible student bachelor and bachelorette. Separated by a partition wall, contestants will be asked questions about their interests, dreams, and of course, what healthy love looks like to them! The bachelor and bachelorette will then choose one contestant to go on a dinner date with. The evening will be full of love and laughs so bring your friends and enjoy :)
Sunset Spin Class

Watch the sun set on the Aggie Legacy Fields with our Sunset Spin class. It will be a high-energy cycling session set to motivating music as the sun goes down. Ride through hills, sprints, and intervals while enjoying the perfect end-of-day atmosphere. Class will start at 5:30pm and be about 45 minutes to an hour long. All skill levels welcome! Class is free with a group fitness pass or just $5 without. Spots will be limited, so register quickly. Weather-dependent, the class will be moved inside if needed.
Rocketleague Tournament

Come hang out and game with us during our Rocketleague Tournament at the Esports Arena starting at 7pm. The Esports Arena is located in the old distribution center next to Maverick Stadium. Tournament is just $5, sign up in our Fusion Play App or day-of at the event.
Cross Country Ski Trip

Join us for an afternoon of Cross Country Skiing on the Franklin Basin Road within Logan Canyon. This summer gravel road is closed to vehicles in the winter and offers snowy rolling terrain perfect for cross country skiing. As we glide along the trail, we’ll be surrounded by snow-draped pine and aspen forests, with towering limestone cliffs rising above the canyon walls. This trip is beginner friendly and we welcome people of all experience levels to join us for a fun afternoon in the great outdoors. We plan to ski approximately 4 miles with 1100 ft of total vertical gain. We plan to return to campus in the evening just after dark.
True Blue Reuse & Repair Clothing Mending & Swap Pop-Up

Join True Blue Reuse & Repair and Residence Life for a mending and swap pop-up in the 2.5 Lounge at Richards Hall on Friday, March 20th from 6pm-8pm. Bring that piece of clothing you've worn so many times that it needs a little mend, those clothes you don't wear these days, or come and just check out what's new-to-you! Break the waste cycle, not the bank.
Basic Life Support Course

The purpose of the American Red Cross BLS course it to train healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, and other healthcare and public safety personnel to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Core Skills: Rapid assessment and visual survey; CPR/AED for adults, children, and infants; obstructed airways; opiod overdoses; critical thinking, problem solving, communication and teamwork; the Emergency Medical Services System; legal considerations
AGGIEROX

Yes, you're reading the title right, we're hosting our own HYROX-inspired event this spring! The series will include 3 miles of running, with 6 muscular endurance exercises. Participants will run 1/2 mile in-between each exercise. We'll have 3 heats available with men's, women's, and co-rec groupings, and the competition will be open to USU students and faculty/staff, as well as community members. There will be prizes for the top 3 finishers in each heat.
