Missing iClicker Scores from the Grade Book for Individual Students
If a student has been participating in polls but isn't getting points assigned in the iClicker grade book. This could be due to a lack of registration or his or her remote might be registered to someone else. The instructor can first try to add the remote ID to the student's name in the grade book. If the instructor gets an error "Duplicate entry. Please try again.", do the following:
For the student who is not receiving credit for polls, have them provide you with the ID from the back of his or her remote
In the iClicker grade book, click the “Reports” button
Click the checkbox for “Student Summary” and the checkbox for “Clicker ID”
Then, click “Next"
The report will be added to the “Classes” folder in a “Reports” folder
Open the Student Summary report
Search for the iClicker ID number the student provided
(This will give you the name of the student to whom the remote is registered)
With that information, return to the iClicker grade book
Find and click on the name of the student to whom the clicker is wrongly registered
- Click on the remote ID, then click the “Remove” button
- You will be asked if you want to remove the iClicker remote ID from your existing session data
- Click “Remove”
- Finally, save the change on that student
Next, find and click on the name of the student to whom the remote should be registered
- Click on the “Add” button
- Type in the remote ID and click "OK"
- Finally, click “Save”
The scores should now appear associated with the correct student
