Utah State University to Graduate 96 Student-Athletes This Week
LOGAN, Utah — Among those graduating this Wednesday will be 96 Utah State University student-athletes who completed their degrees during the 2024-25 academic year.
Of the 96 student-athletes graduating, 22 will receive their graduate degrees and 74 will receive their undergraduate degrees.
Among those student-athletes graduating are 30 football players, 11 men's track & field/cross country athletes, 10 soccer players, nine women’s track & field/cross country athletes, seven men’s basketball players, six softball players, five players each from women’s basketball, golf and gymnastics, three student-athletes each from women’s tennis and volleyball, and two from men’s tennis.
Utah State's student-athletes traditionally rank among the best in the Mountain West with an NCAA Graduation Success Rate of 91 percent, one of four MW institutions to be at 90 percent or higher, and a cumulative 3.42 grade-point average.
Collectively, this group garnered 105 academic all-conference honors, produced 82 Mountain West Scholar-Athletes, had 15 academic all-district honorees and three scholastic All-Americans, to go along with 29 individual and team conference championships, 25 all-conference honors and four All-Americans.
For the 2024-25 academic year, USU had 91 student-athletes earn academic All-Mountain West honors from its fall sports, while 266 student-athletes were recognized at its Sagebrush Awards Banquet for earning a 3.2 or better GPA.
