Lifeguard Recertification Course

Workshop/Training

American Red Cross recertification course for Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Fee includes instructor time and certification cards. Will be held over three days: May 27th, 28th, and 29th. Must be at least 15 years old and pass a swimming skills test. $145 community, $140 USU fac/staff, $135 USU students.

Lifeguard Course

Workshop/Training

American Red Cross certification course for Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. This is a blended learning course, part online and part hosted at the HPER Pools at Utah State. Will be held in person on three different days: June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Must be at least 15 years old by last day of class (June 4th) and pass a swimming skills test. $200 for community, $195 for USU fac/staff and $190 for USU students.

Sand Volleyball Tournament

Join us for a one-day sand volleyball tournament. The tournament is free to anyone with a current A-number. Registration will be through the Fusion Play app. Email intramurals@usu.edu if you have any questions about registration. Spouses are able to sign up. Start time is 10am at the ARC sand courts.

Faculty and Staff! Come spend several days rafting the beautiful Desolation and Gray Canyons on the Green River. We will pack everything we need in rafts and leave civilization behind to travel downstream through the Desolation wilderness. We will enjoy sandy beaches, historical sites and numerous rapids that fill this 84 mile section of river. Participants must be able to swim, prepared for moderate physical activity and six days in a hot desert wilderness environment with temperatures over 100° F (38°C). Trip cost includes food, permit, transportation, rafting equipment, tent, sleeping bag and pad, and OP leadership.

Fraternity Block Party

Fair/Festival

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) at Utah State University is hosting a high-energy outdoor Block Party in the TSC Bus Loop to kick off the semester and promote student engagement. This event will feature multiple live bands, student and local DJs, and interactive spaces for students to connect, dance, and enjoy campus life.

This event is open to all USU students and aims to build community while showcasing the positive, inclusive culture of Greek Life. Security and IFC volunteers will be present to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Music volume will be monitored to comply with university standards, and all university policies will be followed.
