Trauma-Informed Engagement in Sensitive Settings for Research and Study Abroad
"This 45-minute Sparkshop examines the application of trauma-informed principles in research and study abroad contexts. Participants will consider how trauma awareness, cultural humility, and ethical engagement intersect when working with communities or individuals in sensitive settings. The session will provide evidence-based strategies for designing and facilitating experiences that prioritize psychological safety, informed consent, and mutual respect.
