Learning PowerUps: Small Shifts, Big Sparks for Motivational Design
Small teaching moves can lead to big motivational gains. In this session, participants will explore the Learning PowerUps approach for applying the ARCS-V model of motivational design using evidence-based strategies like minute papers, low-stakes quizzes, and connection-building check-ins. Together, we’ll identify simple ways to enhance attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction—turning everyday teaching moments into energizing opportunities for student learning and engagement.
