New instructors at USU including tenure track, non-tenure track, lecturers, clinical faculty, and professional practice faculty are invited to participate. This workshop addresses effective practices for teaching synchronous (live) classes to students who are connecting remotely from a Statewide campus or from their living rooms. It will cover the proper use of equipment along with techniques to keep students engaged, such as breakout groups, polling, shared whiteboards, and more.
