Grades & Transcripts

Online courses adhere to the same USU student records policies as other courses. A complete list of record information can be found in the General Catalog.

How do I find my final grade?

Final grades should be submitted within 96 business hours after the course has finished. If your grades have not been posted after the 96 hour window, contact your instructor.

  1. Login to Access (Banner).
  2. Select Student from main menu (Skip if using link above).
  3. Select Student Records from the student menu (Skip if using link above).
  4. Select Final Grades from the student records menu(Skip if using link above).
  5. Select a term from the drop-down list.
  6. Your grades for all courses taken for the selected term will appear on your screen.

How do I get an official transcript?

Official transcripts can be requested online through Access (Banner). Transcripts may also be requested by mail or in person. See the Registrar's website for more information. If you need further assistance, please visit with your academic advisor. To order a transcript online:

  1. Login to Access (Banner).
  2. Select Student from the main menu.
  3. Select Student Records from the student menu.
  4. Select Order Transcript from the student records menu.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Important

No transcript will be sent until all financial obligations with Utah State University are met.

How do I get a copy of my unofficial transcript?

A copy of your unofficial transcript may be obtained through Access (Banner).

  1. Login to Access (Banner).
  2. Select Student from the main menu. (Skip if using the link above).
  3. Select Student Records from the student menu. (Skip if using the link above).
  4. Select View Transcript from the student records menu. (Skip if using the link above).
  5. Select Transcript Level desired.
  6. Select Unofficial as the Transcript Type.
  7. Press the Submit button.
  8. If desired, you can print the transcript from this screen.

Who has access to my transcripts?

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) provides that only those with the express written consent of a student have access to his/her records. For more information about FERPA, please visit the USU FERPA website.
