Men's Golf Team Earns Golf Coaches Association of America Academic Award
Utah State’s [University] men's golf team has received the All-Academic Team award from the Golf Coaches Association of America for the 2012-13 academic year it was recently announced. In all, USU was one of just 79 Division I men’s golf programs to earn the all-academic team award.
During the 2012-13 academic year, Utah State’s golf team had an overall grade point average of 3.265 led by junior Tanner Higham (Shelley, Idaho) who was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar this year as he has a 3.96 GPA majoring in nutrition, dietetics and food sciences.
