Trade Secrets is a conference for music educators and by music educators, featuring four headlining presenters: Louis Bergonzi, Donald Brinegar, Edith Copley and Anthony Maeillo. Bergonzi is a faculty member at the University of Illinois and specializes in orchestra; Brinegar is an adjunct professor of choral music at the USC Thornton School of Music; Copley teaches choral music at Northern Arizona University; and Maiello specializes in band and works at Pasadena City College in California.

Get yourself financially fit before you buy a house. Financial Planning for Women (FPW) is a monthly educational seminar that meets the second Wednesday (except August and December) at two times: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (this is a permanent change) in the USU Taggart Student Center room 336 (bring a lunch), and at 7-8:30 p.m. at the Family Life Center, 493 North 700 East, Logan (at bottom of Old Main Hill). The longer evening time slot allows for more discussion. Programs are free and registration is not required.

The Art of Happiness -- Promoting well being is an alternate version of helping. Focusing on happiness rather than depression shifts the energy in one’s life toward growth. This workshop teaches the principles associated with personal improvement so students can evolve from a pleasant life to a meaningful life.
