The USU Police Department works with the Utah Bureau of Identification to provide Live Scan fingerprinting. If you choose the Live Scan option, your fingerprints will be processed faster than if you mail in fingerprint cards.
Before you make an appointment
Please carefully review all of the information on this page prior to making an appointment. The USU Police Department only does the fingerprints, we do not complete the background check nor do we receive the results. You must bring the paperwork your employer provided or we will not be able to serve you, and you will have to reschedule your appointment. If you have questions about the paperwork you need to bring with you please contact your employer before your appointment.
Cost
We accept cash, check, debit, or major credit cards. We DO NOT take American Express.

| $35.00 | Driver privilege cards: includes two fingerprint cards and one photo, sealed in a USU envelope. You must bring a photo ID with you or we will be unable to process your prints. |
| $45.00 | TSA prints: You must book two appointments as this takes longer. Bring a self-paid trackable envelope (Fedex or USPS) and the email message you received giving you permission to get printed. If you don't have all of these items, you will have to reschedule your appointment. |

USU Public Safety is just north of Maverik Stadium. The entrance is on the east side, the same entrance you would use to visit USU Parking Services. There is a large flagpole by the front door.
