Honors students have the freedom to create their own educational experiences and the support they need to succeed. Whether they are interested in applying to Honors, developing Honors in Practice projects, or working on Honors Capstones and preparing for graduation, the Honors Program Advisors are here to help.

Note to Incoming Fall 2026 Students Admitted to the University Honors Program

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Honors Program! We are excited to have you! Before scheduling an appointment with an advisor, please review all first semester preparation materials and guides provided by the Honors Program and USU. These include:

  1. First Semester Registration section of  USU's Orientation website
    1. Registration Help (including help with Degree Works and the Banner Registration System)
    2. Major Academic Advisors, Program Requirements, and Four-year Degree Maps
    3. Info about Transfer Credits and Test Scores
    4. Breadth Education General Education courses offered for Fall 2026
  2. University Honors Program First Semester Guide
    1. Info about USU 1010 Honors Connections (required) and other Honors courses
    2. Details about what to do once you are registered for the fall semester.
