Honors in Practice

Honors-in-Practice (HIP) allows students to apply their academic knowledge beyond the classroom. HIP challenges students to think creatively and practically about the value of experiential learning as they engage in research, creative projects, community service, and interdisciplinary collaboration. As they learn to take ownership of their education and articulate its value to others through HIP work, students often establish content for their Honors Portfolio, lay the foundation for their Honors Capstone Projects and prepare for future professional endeavors.
