Day of Giving, 2024
October 10th and 11th are Utah State University's annual A Day of Giving event. This event is a two-day, 1888 minute fundraising event. This year we would like to highlight the importance of supporting student affairs organizations at Utah State University. These groups play a crucial role in enhancing student experiences, promoting personal growth, and fostering a vibrant campus community.
Your donation can help provide essential resources, programming, and support for students, ensuring they have the opportunities to thrive both academically and socially. Aggie Veterans
The Veterans Resource Office (VRO) Development Account provides support, services, resources, activities, and equipment for Veterans, Service Members, and their Dependents pursuing their academic goals.
The VRO gives these amazing students, who have sacrificed so much to maintain the freedoms we enjoy, a place to gather, escape from academic rigors, and an environment to develop the Esprit de Corp with fellow veterans who share similar military and combat experiences.
Often Veterans, Service Members, and Dependents experience a period of difficult transition from military to civilian life, magnified by the academic rigors of returning to school. Our goal this year is to raise funds to provide additional activities for our student-veterans so they can enjoy lasting friendships with fellow veterans in their shared goals of achieving their degrees from Utah State University.
The university’s most immediate concerns are student safety and needs, and the overall health and well-being of our student community. With your help, we can provide funding for USU's Counseling and Prevention Services (CAPS). CAPS will use this funding to provide therapy, consultation, and crisis appointments to students when needed. The generosity of the USU community is one of its greatest strengths.
Fostering a welcoming community of global citizens, Global Engagement supports international students, facilitates study abroad opportunities, and promotes intercultural awareness. Your contribution to the International Student Gift Fund aids international students when crises strike at home.
Student Emergency and Hardship Fund
Utah State’s Emergency Hardship Fund provides grants to students who face unexpected circumstances that otherwise cause them to drop out of school. Donations help students in a variety of ways, such as affording tuition, moving from their car to an apartment, purchasing groceries, or paying a medical bill.
Students who face hardships apply and undergo an intensive interview process to determine their level of need, the necessary funds needed, and the area of assistance the grant will cover. Funds cover tuition and fees, textbooks, medical and health expenses, living expenses, and groceries.

Student media will be renovating the post office locations in the Taggart Student Center to build a new live studio for Aggie Radio and a multipurpose creative space for the many endeavors the organization undertakes. This space will provide access to industry-standard equipment in the radio broadcast, graphic design, and content creation fields. It is our hope with this campaign to offset some of the renovation costs and bolster our equipment purchases to do as much as possible to future-proof some of the assets at the students' disposal.
