Will my camper sit in front of a screen all day?

Aggie Rec Esports Camp values our time away from screens as much as we value our time participating in video games. We try to incorporate multiple breaks a day for snacks, water, and engaging in activities outside of a screen. Campers may find themselves playing a game of kickball, UNO, building paper airplanes, corn hole, or other outdoor activities as well.

What's the difference between half day and full day camps?

New this year we are offering a game design component of camp. Campers will have the opportunity to build their own game with the help of USU Game Design Professors. At the end of each week campers will have the opportunity to show off their game creation to their peers.

Will my child have adequate supervision throughout the day? What certifications do the staff members have?

Safety is our #1 priority! Our campers get the care they deserve with our 8-to-1 camper-to-staff ratio. The staff members are all trained in American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid, Sexual Assault Training, COVD-19 policies and procedures and a background check will be completed.

Does my camper need to bring a lunch?

Campers who are attending the full day camps should bring a cold lunch to camp. Half day campers are encouraged to eat prior to coming to camp as we only offer snack time.

What should my camper wear or bring?

  • Refillable water bottle with a lip or cap
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes
  • Campers should eat prior to attending camp

Can my camper bring their own equipment?

We highly discourage campers bringing their own equipment as these items could get lost or broken during daily camp activities. Should a camper choose to bring their own equipment, they will be responsible for this equipment. Aggie Rec Esports Camp will not be liable for these items. We will provide the necessary equipment for your camper during sessions.

Is camp fun?

Absolutely! Whether it’s competitive or recreational gaming, arts and crafts, board games, or socializing with peers, we offer a wide variety of activities that can be enjoyed by all.
