Personal Training

Utah State Campus Recreation’s personal training is designed to help you meet your health and fitness goals! Whether you want to lose weight, gain strength, train for sport performance, or improve your overall health, our Certified Personal Trainers can help! Take advantage of our affordable prices, knowledgeable staff, and easy convenience. 

Sessions can be purchased as a single training, or in packages cutting the cost of individual sessions.  

Personal Training packages that have 6 sessions or more automatically come with an initial consultation and a 6-week consultation. If you finish before the 6 week mark, you can schedule your 6-week consultation ahead of time. Also, these packages come with homework assignments to do outside of your training session. Make sure to ask your trainer about your extra workouts

 

How to Begin Personal Training
  1. All new clients must first complete a Wellness Package (Free) prior to purchasing any additional Personal Training services. (i.e. Sessions, Programming)
  2. Once clients complete the Wellness Package, they will be contacted by fitness staff to schedule their initial appointment.
  3. Once a client completes the Wellness Package, they can then purchase additional sessions at the front desk. If you do not purchase personal training or nutrition sessions, there is a $15 fee.

Help us gather pertinent information regarding your goals and experience with exercise to help find the right trainer for you! You'll receive a fitness assessment and nutrition consultation for free*

*as long as coaching or personal training sessions are purchased. Otherwise it's a $15 fee

Fitness Assessment

Let our certified personal trainers check your current well-being and provide you with general guidelines to help reach your goals. This service includes checking for resting heart rate and blood pressure, body composition, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, muscular endurance, and strength. After purchasing online, you will be contacted by our fitness staff to schedule this appointment.

 

One-On-One Training

Individual personal training is the best option for those who have fitness goals, little or no exercise experience, or enjoy a one-on-one setting. Your trainer will create an individualized exercise program based on your unique goals.

Partner Training (2 People)

Partner training allows you to get personalized attention at a more affordable price. Great for friends, spouses, or just anyone that enjoys working out with a training partner. This is a great way to bump up the intensity and change up your workouts!

Aggie Fitness Programming: 4 Weeks

This 4-week customized workout program is designed to meet your fitness goals. These packages are not for beginners, you should have a base understanding of working out and form. You will have initial consultation with a Certified Personal Trainer to do a few tests.

Refund Policy

  • You must notify your personal trainer within 24 hours prior to your session if you would like to reschedule or cancel your session. If you cancel in less than 24 hours or no-show your personal trainer has the right to consider this a redeemed session.
  • All packages are non-refundable and expire 6 months after the date of purchase.
  • All personal training files are kept confidential.

Who is personal training for?

Anyone! Whether your goal is to get stronger, increase endurance, lose weight, feel more confident, have more energy or improve your overall health, personal training is individualized and designed to suit your goals.

What are the benefits of having a personal trainer?

Meeting with a personal trainer provides you with a consistent workout routine, an individualized exercise program, goal setting strategies and instruction on how to use our exercise equipment. A personal trainer also provides motivation, guidance, and support along your fitness journey!

Where do sessions take place?

All sessions are located at the ARC or Fieldhouse across from the ARC on campus.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 1 hour long. 

Do I have to be a member of the ARC to train?

Anyone can train with our personal trainers. We're open to students, faculty/staff members, and community members.
