Memberships

Students

Students enrolled in classes and paying student body fees can use the ARC, Fieldhouse, and HPER for free. A valid USU ID (physical or digital) is required to enter Campus Recreation Facilities. 

During the summer months, students not currently enrolled in classes can purchase a summer membership. Students must have been enrolled during the Spring and register for the Fall to buy a summer membership. Students enrolled in summer classes can continue to use the facilities for free. 

Summer Membership Options:

• Monthly pass: $25
• Summer semester pass: $75, prorated daily

Students with a declared leave of absence may buy a membership up to 3 years from the end date of the last student membership. Leave of absence membership can only be purchased once for the duration of the semester. 

• Leave of absence semester pass: $100, prorated daily

Faculty & Staff

All Faculty and Staff on USU payroll can purchase an ARC membership. Full-time benefited Faculty and Staff can enroll in payroll deduction; not available to SDL employees. Valid USU ID is required to enter Campus Recreation Facilities. To purchase a membership, visit the ARC Service desk to fill out a payroll deduction opt-in form or purchase a month-to-month membership. 

• Payroll deduction (benefited faculty & staff only): $16.75 per month
• Month-to-month membership: $30
• Semester membership: $100, prorated daily
• Annual membership: $250

ARC Membership Faculty/Staff Benefits:

• Full use of the ARC, Fieldhouse, HPER and Campus Recreation Programs
• Unlimited group fitness classes
• Discounted personal training packages
• 35% discount on Outdoor Programs equipment rentals
• Climbing wall access

Payroll deduction memberships are not eligible for refunds. Cancellations must be submitted 5 business days before the start of a new month. If submitted late, you may be charged for an additional month. 

Full-time and benefited faculty and staff members have free use of the Fieldhouse and HPER during the academic year and the HPER during the summer. 

Recent Alumni

Recent graduates can purchase an ARC membership for up to one year after graduating. Valid USU ID is required to enter Campus Recreation facilities (physical or digital). 

• Monthly pass: $30
• Semester pass: $100, prorated daily
• Annual pass: $250, one-time payment

*Recent graduate is defined as graduating from USU within 365 days. 

Guest Passes

A member can sponsor a guest over the age of 18 by purchasing an $8 day pass to the ARC and Fieldhouse. Guest packages are also available; packages are sold and linked to the profile of the active member, not the guest, and the sponsoring member must be present each time a pass is redeemed. Guest waivers must be signed for all guest offering redemptions. 

Guest Passes:

• Day pass: $8
• 3 pass package: $18 ($6/pass)
• 5 pass package: $25 ($5/pass)

Spouses

Student Spouse

You must be married to a registered USU student to qualify for a student spouse membership. Student spouses will be able to use all Campus Recreation facilities and program registrations - Outdoor programs trips, intramural sports, group fitness, etc. 

• $15 for USU ID card & $50 entrance fee

Summer Membership Options:

• The spouse must have been a member during the Spring semester
• The student must purchase a Student Summer Membership
• Paid membership fee: $25/month or $75/summer

Benefited Faculty & Staff Spouse/Partner

Must be a spouse or USU-recognized domestic partner of a benefited USU Faculty or Staff Employee. Must be listed as a dependent with USU Human Resources and be issued a USU A-number. There are no spouse memberships for non-benefited hourly/adjunct employees. 

• $15 for USU ID card (valid for HPER & Fieldhouse only)

To use the ARC, you must purchase a membership at the ARC service desk. 

• Payroll deduction through USU faculty/staff: $30/month for both members, not available to SDL employees
• Month-to-month membership: $25/ month per person
