All students complete a capstone experience. In two-year programs students build an Honors Capstone Portfolio that highlights their academic work and professional development. In four-year programs students complete an Honors Capstone Project, a long-term project on the topic of their choice. Capstone courses assist students in completing these requirements.

This course guides students in 1) understanding the nature, scope, and value of an Honors Capstone Project; 2) developing possible ideas for their own Honors Capstone Projects; 3) talking with peers and faculty to define and clarify those interests; and 4) drafting their Honors Capstone Proposals.
