This scholarship is awarded to exceptional rising Honors juniors or seniors who demonstrate clear intentions to graduate with University Honors, with preference given to those who aspire to apply for a nationally competitive scholarship, such as the Rhodes, Marshall, Udall, or Truman.
Eligibility:
Active, engaged Honors sophomores or juniors (rising juniors or seniors) with a minimum 3.5 cumulative/USU GPA who demonstrate clear progress toward graduation with University Honors, with preference given to students who articulate plans to apply for a prestigious national scholarship or fellowshipSelection Criteria:
- Overall academic merit as determined by cumulative/USU GPA, as well as university honors and/or awards earned
- Evidence of progress toward completion of capstone project and graduation with Honors
- Evidence of public or community service and leadership
- Demonstration of desire and potential to be a “change maker” in the world
- Preference given to students who articulate plans to apply for a prestigious national scholarship or fellowship
