Accessible Software Overview

Accessibility should be considered whenever software is developed, purchased, or used at Utah State University in accordance with USU's Software, Systems, and Applications Standard. Taking accessibility into account early helps ensure software can be used by all individuals, including those with disabilities, and reduces the need for remediation later.

This page provides guidance for selecting the appropriate process based on your situation, whether you are developing software, procuring it through a formal process, or purchasing or adopting a tool for use.

Need Help?

Digital Accessibility Services can help evaluate software, review accessibility documentation, and provide guidance at any stage.
