As the semester begins to wind down, stress levels can increase. We're here to help alleviate some of that stress and let you dance it out with our Stress Free High Fitness class. Join us from 7-8pm in the MAC, class is free with a group fitness pass or just $5 without.
Aggie Rec Camp Open House
Recreation
Join the fun with Aggie Rec Camp and our Open House! We'll have fun games and a craft station for the kids. Parents, you can ask questions about camp, sign up for camp in person, and have fun with your kiddos! This will be our second offering, April 10th at the Nelson Fieldhouse on campus. Completely free to come and hang out!
Lifeguard Instructor Course (LGI)
Workshop/Training
The Lifeguarding Instructor course trains instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding courses including Lifeguarding Shallow Water Lifeguarding Aquatic Attraction Lifeguarding Waterpark Skills Waterfront Skills CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Bloodborne Pathogens Training. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the first in-person session of the instructor course. Prerequisites: 1. Minimum age: 17 years 2. Possess a current Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid 3. Ability to successfully demonstrate all Lifeguarding and CPR skills including a precourse assessment to perform a water rescue (submerged drowning) extrication single rescuer CPR for 3 minutes.
Reel Rock Film Screening

Reel Rock 19 showcases three world-premiere climbing films spanning disciplines, characters, and continents: a heartfelt story of second chances in love and climbing on Squamish’s legendary Cobra Crack; an outrageous 18-day big wall epic on Patagonia’s towering Torre Central; and the pursuit of a lifelong dream—a 5.15 first ascent—made possible by an unlikely partnership. In collaboration with USU Outdoor Programs, we'll be showing the film at the Eccles Conference Center Room 216. Tickets are $18 for community and $13 for students - buy all tickets at the door.
Full Moon Hike

See the beauty of Logan Canyon under the moon's light. Be sure to bring your hiking shoes, water bottle, headlamp, some snacks for the trail and warm clothes for the cooler nighttime temperatures.
Free Nutrition Workshop

These mini nutrition workshops are 30 minutes long and are designed to give you the basic skills you need to improve your eating habits! Each workshop will feature a different topic so come and learn about all things nutrition! These classes are put on by USU Dietetics students. Must register beforehand; spots are limited.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Training

The purpose of the American Red Cross BLS course it to train healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, and other healthcare and public safety personnel to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Core Skills: Rapid assessment and visual survey; CPR/AED for adults, children, and infants; obstructed airways; opiod overdoses; critical thinking, problem solving, communication and teamwork; the Emergency Medical Services System; legal considerations.
Logan Canyon Rock Climbing

Come spend a few hours rock climbing up in Logan Canyon. We will meet at the OP and drive up the canyon to experience some of the many climbs right in our campus backyard. This is a great opportunity to learn some of the routes in Logan Canyon or try climbing for the first time. No experience necessary, beginners welcome. Trip Cost includes transportation, climbing equipment, and student leadership. Space is limited so sign up today!

Mat Pilates

As part of Rec Your Stress Week with Campus Recreation, we're offering a free mat pilates class! Monday, April 21st from 5-6pm in the MAC gym at the ARC. No registration is required, and it is free for anyone. All equipment will also be provided.
Personal Training Drop-In

Come learn more about Campus Rec's personal training offerings by sitting down with some of our trainers during our personal training drop-in hour! As part of Rec Your Stress week, we continue to offer free services and allow students to ask questions, learn, and unwind. This will be located in the ARC lobby of the south entrance.
Earth Day Yoga

Celebrate Earth Day by moving your body with our yoga class! All skill levels are welcome, the class is free if you have a group fitness pass or just $5 without one. Will be from 4-5pm and held in the Loft at the ARC.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind event - high fitness on the Aggie Legacy Fields! Release the stress of finals and dance it out with us for the evening as part of Rec Your Stress Week with Campus Recreation. Class is free for anyone, and no registration is required.
Spin Class on the Patio

We're hosting another unique fitness event as part of Rec Your Stress with Campus Recreation. This time we're doing a spin class out on the patio outside the Instructional Training Room in the ARC. Free for anyone, no registration required, but spots are limited.

Intramural Tennis Tournament

Join us for a one-day intramural tennis tournament! We have singles and doubles divisions - sign up to claim your spot! We'll be playing at the USU tennis courts starting at 10am. Registration is free with an IM membership or $15 for a single sports pass. All registration can be done in the Fusion Play App.
