USU Hockey Prospect Camp April 22-23 2022

Utah State University Men’s Hockey is proud to announce our annual USU Hockey Spring Prospect Camp in Logan, UT, on April 22nd-23rd, 2022. This camp is open to all currently enrolled, or prospective (future/non-admitted) Utah State University students interested in playing for the Aggies.

Fee for the camp is $50 (when registering before April 11th) and is payable only by credit/debit card when registering online (link below). The camp fee increases after April 11th to $75. The fee is non-refundable. Included in the camp fee, but not limited to: 3 ice-sessions, food provided after ice sessions, individual meetings with USU Coaching Staff, Comprehensive Campus Tour, etc.

Jersey and team assignments will be given out at check-in on April 22nd. Each prospective player attending the weekend skate is required to complete a waiver form at the check-in prior to getting on the ice.

We highly encourage all Prospect Camp participants to attend all ice sessions and activities as outlined in below schedule. The entire weekend is designed to provide information about USU and the hockey program so you can make an informed decision about your future college experience.

All ice sessions occur at the Eccles Ice Center, 2825 N 200 E, North Logan UT 84341.

Schedule

April 22, 2022:

  • Optional Logan Campus Tour: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, free registration required
  • Optional Logan Campus Tour: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM, free registration is required
  • Camp Check-in: 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM at Eccles Ice Center
  • Coaching Staff Introduction: 6:00 PM – 6:15 PM
  • Ice Session 1: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Post-Ice Session food provided

 

April 23, 2022

  • Ice Session 2: 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Prospect Camp Luncheon: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Optional Logan Campus Tour: 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM (Special request)
  • Individual Meetings with Coaches 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Ice Session 3:  4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Individual Meetings with Coaches 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Camp Check-Out

*Please note that this is a Prospect Camp, and there is no guarantee that any prospective player attending will be promised a spot on the USU Hockey roster for the 2022-2023 or any later seasons. The main purpose of this Prospect Camp is to give each prospective player a chance to explore the USU Logan Campus, explore their academic options, assess their level of hockey against other current and prospective players, for coaches to get a better idea of level of players interested in the program and overall provide the prospective player with an opportunity to gather information for their decision process. We strongly advise all those in attendance to submit their applications to Utah State University prior to attending the Prospect Camp.
