Our team of nationally certified Personal Training Professionals are here to help you in reaching your every goal,  help you to achieve your fitness, wellness and health potential. Personal Trainers can help you with weight loss or gain, toning up, increasing muscle mass, increasing flexibility and strength. Our trainers will help you design a safe and effective workout program, offer nutrition guidance and positive lifestyle changing tips. Personal Training at USU is very affordable for all participants. Sessions can be purchased as a single training, or in packages which help cut your costs even more.

This 6-week customized workout program is designed to meet your fitness goals, complete with individualized training sessions, a body composition and fitness assessment, and guidance from a certified personal trainer. 

This three-session package includes: 

Session 1: A Fit 3D body composition analysis and fitness assessment covering measures of muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and strength. Following this assessment, you’ll consult with a certified personal trainer who will design an individualized program based on your goals.

Session 2: Meet with your trainer for a one hour training session to go over your workout program components, receive feedback on exercise form and answer any questions you have. During this session, you will learn how to complete all movements with proper form. 

Session 3: Follow up with your trainer for a second one hour training session to assess progress, modify exercises as needed and receive suggestions for continuing your workout program.

Join a group of 6-10 participants with a certified instructor at the ARC for a fusion between personal training and group fitness. All classes are beginner-friendly and tailored to individuals with program progression over 6 weeks.

Each program includes two Fit 3D assessments and one 20-minute meeting with your small group coach, as well as two 30-minute nutrition consultations with a Registered Dietitian to help achieve your fitness and wellness goals.

HIIT to Fit 

A fun, cardio-intensive class combining High Intensity Interval Training with weight lifting and bodyweight exercises. Classes will include mixtures of tabata, spinning, rowing, treadmills through engaging workouts to optimize all-around fitness!

Duration: 6 weeks, September 10th-October 26th

Intro to Lifting

Learn the fundamentals of proper lifting technique, strength building and muscular toning in this progressive 6-week program. With weeks focused on different phases, you’ll learn various types of lifting and be able to track measurable progress. We’ll cover lifting with dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, cables and more! All ability levels are welcome.

Duration: 6 weeks, September 10th-October 26th

Personal Training FAQ

Who is personal training for?

Anyone! Whether your goal is to get stronger, increase endurance, lose weight, feel more confident, have more energy or improve your overall health, personal training is individualized and designed to suit your goals.

What are the benefits of having a personal trainer?

Meeting with a personal trainer provides you with a consistent workout routine, an individualized exercise program, goal setting strategies and instruction on how to use our exercise equipment. A personal trainer also provides motivation, guidance and support along your fitness journey!

Where do sessions take place?

All sessions are located at the ARC or Fieldhouse across from the ARC on campus. All Faculty/Staff and Alumni/Community personal training will take place at the Fieldhouse.

Do I have to be a member of the ARC to train?

You must be a current Utah State University student to train in the ARC. However, faculty/staff and Alumni/Community can train in the Fieldhouse.

ARC Personal Training Policies:

You must notify your personal trainer within 24 hours prior to your session if you would like to reschedule or cancel your session. After that time, a personal trainer has the right to consider your session complete.

All packages are non-refundable and expire 6 months after date of purchase.

All personal training files are kept confidential and are considered property of the ARC.
