Looking for a fast-paced, fun job right on campus? The HUB, located on the 1st floor of the Taggart Student Center (TSC), may be the place for you! As part of our team, you’ll take orders, prepare made-to-order meals, keep your station clean, and provide top-notch customer service. You’ll get to work with great people while serving favorites from one of the Seven Restaurants in Cache Valley’s Only Food Court.
Opening Fall 2025, The Skyroom, located on the Top floor of the Taggart Student Center (TSC), is an escape from the day to day grind of the University! USU new full-service restaurant will serve delicious made to order entrees prepared by our talented chef in an idyllic setting in the sky.
University Catering is your opportunity to be part of an exciting, dynamic team! From weddings and Christmas parties to staff meetings and summer cookouts, every day is different, and no two events are the same! Catering employees enjoy flexible schedules, requiring occasional Sundays and holidays, and a wide variety of tasks. For those interested in advancement opportunities, a valid driver’s license is required as you may need to drive Catering vehicles to events.
Are you ready for a fast-paced, energetic job? USU Athletics Concessions is looking for team members to provide exceptional food service at athletic events and other exciting campus happenings. As a Concessions Employee, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and cleaning concessions stands, lifting and moving food products, following cash-handling procedures, and delivering excellent customer service.
You’ll also lead volunteer staff at snack stands during major events like football, basketball, softball, and volleyball games. Shifts vary weekly based on the event schedule and may include occasional Sundays. All Football Games are required. If you’re ready to be part of the action and support the Aggies, apply today!
Residential Dining
Our Residential Dining Halls, The Junction and The Aggie Marketplace, are the heart of the University. Our employees get hands-on experience working under highly experienced chefs, learning industry techniques while preparing and serving 1500 meals per day to students, staff, and visitors to campus. Working with us is a great way to meet diverse people, make new friends, and gain valuable experience—all while earning money. Perks include a flexible schedule, convenient campus locations, and a dynamic team environment.
The Junction, located in Central Campus, is the perfect job for on-campus residents. All employees are required to work one Sunday per month but can enjoy every Saturday off!
The Aggie Marketplace, located in the Taggart Student Center, is close to your classes and campus activities! Plus, Sundays are always off!
Convenience Stores
Our Convenience Stores, Shaw's 88, The Quickstop, & The Depot, are perfect for those who want to work independently at their own pace. Your role will involve preparing food, ensuring products are stocked and organized, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. Employees of the C-Stores may work in one, two, or all of our locations, depending on availability. Some Saturdays and Sundays may be required. We’re looking forward to adding two more C-Stores in 2025!

Located right inside The Junction on Central Campus, The Depot is the go-to spot for campus residents to grab snacks and essentials.
Looking for a laid-back job with a convenient work environment? At the Quickstop, you’ll be at the heart of campus in the Taggart Student Center.
The Cafés
Our Cafés offer intimate settings to work and build relationships with our regular customers across campus. Each unique café is essential to the culture of the University, helping build communities while our employees prepare food and beverages, maintain a clean work area, and provide outstanding customer service. Café employees may work in one, two, or all of our locations, based on availability.
Beth’s Bistro, located in the Center for Clinical Excellence Building, serves up made-to-order
breakfast and lunch.
Be part of our thriving community at The Forum Café, located in the Merrill-Cazier Library—right in the heart of campus! Some Sunday shifts may be required.
At Luke's Café, located right by the Quad in the Agricultural Science Building, you'll enjoy a centrally located workplace with a friendly community of coworkers!
Noni’s Café, located right next to the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA), is the spot for cozy creativity to meet culinary convenience.
Bringing a new energy and even fresher sushi to the campus community! This location gives you a front-row seat to the action, with your sushi chef rolling your favorites right in front of you.
The International Café, located right by the Quad in the new Medhi Heravi Global Teaching & Learning Center, you'll be part of USU diverse Global Community.
Behind the Scenes
Ready to be part of the backbone of campus dining? We have several positions that keep everything running behind the scenes with little to no contact with our customers. From bakers and prep cooks to warehouse and janitorial, we have a variety of positions that are essential to keeping Dining Services running smoothly.
Looking to get hands-on experience in the world of baking? As a Baker at the USU Bakery, you'll gain valuable skills working alongside talented pastry chefs. Our bakers start the day while the rest of us are sleeping and finish before most classes begin so they can provide fresh baked goods for the Dining locations across campus. Located in The Junction in Central Campus, The Bakery is the ideal location for early risers!
The Dining Services Warehouse, located in the basement of The Junction in Central Campus, is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring timely deliveries to various dining locations across campus. Your daily tasks will include receiving and storing inventory, processing orders, preparing deliveries, loading trucks, and keeping shelves organized and products rotated. Warehouse shifts are from 6AM-8AM or 7AM-9AM, Monday through Friday.
Prep Cooks at The Junction or TSC Kitchen, work alongside our talented Chefs helping prepare meals for the Dining Halls and USU Catering as well as our Clutch items, sold across campus. Many tasks are entry level, but there is room for growth in our kitchens and a variety of food to prepare. Our more experienced Prep Cooks even help refine recipes and introduce specials.
Dishwashers and Night Janitors at The Junction, The Hub, or TSC Kitchen, are integral to keeping our biggest locations running smoothly. The perfect job for those who like to get to work without needing to talk to many people. If you want to work somewhere that you always know what to expect, these task focused positions might be perfect for you! Dishwashers work flexible schedules. Night Janitors work late nights.
