Respond to Our Invitation
Please accept, defer, or decline our invitation as soon as you make a decision. If you accept by March 23, 2026, you will be able to register early for your fall semester courses. All responses must be completed by May 1.
TIP: A deferral is for admitted students who have not yet started classes at USU; a leave of absence is for students who have completed at least one semester at USU and are now taking time off from school.
Attend a Group Advising Session
Getting ready for your first semester doesn’t have to be stressful—your Honors Peer and Academic Advisors are here to help. They’re hosting four Zoom group advising sessions to review USU’s registration tools, offer tips for choosing classes, and explain what comes next in the University Honors Program. We encourage you to sign up for one Honors‑focused session so you’re ready for early registration and can get your questions answered.

Before you arrive on campus, we will send important information to the email address listed on your application. Once fall semester begins (or when you start at USU, if you defer admission), all Honors communication will go to your USU A-number email address.
