Cranksgiving Bicycle Fun Race

Cranksgiving is an Alleycat bike race the weekend before Thanksgiving. Gather a team of 2-5 people, bring backpacks or panniers or any other way to carry things while you bike. Meet at Aggie Blue Bikes at 11am then race around the valley to different grocery stores where you purchase food items from a list (primarily thanksgiving related- turkey, canned veggies, pie, etc.). We meet up at the Cache Food Pantry at 2pm where we weigh up and donate all of the food. Food that is harder to carry or heavier is a higher point value, there is also trivia for bonus points, the team with the most points wins fun prizes from local businesses. Registration for this event is free, but participants should expect to pay upwards of $20 on groceries. Like all events at Aggie Blue Bikes, Cranksgiving is open to all ages and skill levels.
