Ordering Branded Goods
Utah State University encourages the creation of high-quality branded products to promote departments, programs, and initatives. To maintain intetrigy of our visual idenity, all products featuring USU logos, trademarks, or intellectual property must be produced by a licensend vendor and undergo a formal review and approval process.
Follow the guiedlines outlined below to ensure your project complies with univeristy poilicy (5100).
How to Order Products
Aggie Print & Mail
Aggie Print & Mail is USU’s dedicated non-profit service center, offering streamlined promotional and printing services specifically for the campus community.
- Source Products: Browse the Aggie Print Promo Place website to select your items.
- Collaborate on Design: Work directly with the Aggie Print team to develop your layout. All designs must adhere to USU Brand Standards.
- Submit for Review: Obtain pre-approval by submitting your design through the Branded Goods Artwork Review Form [link].
- Note: If your administrative unit requires professional design assistance, please contact the Licensing & Brand Activation team.
- Finalize Order: Once approved, place your order with Aggie Print. They will submit the final design through Brand Manager 360 (BM360) for official university record-keeping and final verification.
Licensed External Vendors
USU partners with over 200 licensed companies that are authorized to produce branded goods. Use this option for specialized items or competitive bid requirements.
- Select a Vendor: Consult our Licensed Vendor Database to identify an approved company for your specific product needs.
- Develop Artwork: Coordinate with the licensee to ensure your design is compatible with the product specifications while maintaining brand standards.
- Required Pre-Approval: Before production begins, you must submit your artwork for review via the Branded Goods Artwork Review Form [link].
- Licensee Submission: Once the order is placed, the licensed vendor is responsible for submitting the final design to the university via Brand Manager 360 (BM360) for formal approval.
AgoraQuote
Agora quote is a service provided by University Marketing & Communications, Trademark Licensing to make the branded goods ordering process easier. Aggie Print is not permitted to bid through the Agora Quote process. If you are interested in a bid from Aggie Print, you can contact them directly at print@usu.edu or 435-797-2625.
- Work with your marketing team to create the design you wish to place on your promotional product.
- All university brand standards must be followed.
- Pre-approval from University Marketing & Communications, Trademark Licensing is required. To obtain approval, submit your artwork to the artwork review form.
- If a university college or administrative unit needs assistance with a design for promotional products, please contact University Marketing & Communications, Trademark Licensing.
- Agora will automatically pick the licensees that can produce the goods you are looking for.
- Ex: if you are looking for t-shirts, only the licensees showing can produce t-shirts for you.
- You can pick the licensees you would like to bid.
- Pick the licensees you would like to send the quote request to (for USU Purchasing requirements, quotes must be requested by 3 licensees, however, you can pick as many as you would like).
- Submit quote(s).
- Once quotes are submitted, Agora sends the design to University Marketing & Communications, Trademark Licensing for review and pre-approval.
- If changes are necessary, the changes will be communicated to the licensee. New artwork will be generated and reviewed.
- Once quotes are received, you will receive an email.
- Open quote(s) and review them.
- Pick the quote you would like to go with, accept it, and then the order will be placed.
- Agora Quote will generate the punch out in Ez-Buy generating the PO for the purchase.
- AgoraQuote will submit all orders to Brand Manager 360 for final review and approval.
