Toolkit: Branded Goods
Ordering Branded Goods
Utah State University encourages the creation of high-quality branded products to promote departments, programs, and initatives. To maintain intetrigy of our visual idenity, all products featuring USU logos, trademarks, or intellectual property must be produced by a licensend vendor and undergo a formal review and approval process per university policy 5100.
Follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure your project complies with university procurement and branding standards.
- Approval Before Production: Do not authorize a vendor to begin production or move to "print" until you have received an official approval notification from Licensing and Brand Activation.
- Payment Compliance: Purchasing and Accounts Payable may block payments (P-Card or EZ-Buy) for branded goods that have not been vetted through the official artwork review process.
- Standard Colors: Ensure your vendor is aware of the official university color specifications (e.g., USU Navy PMS 282) to avoid production errors.
