Legacy of Val Day of Service: Bareroot Plants at Stokes Nature Center (Nibley)

It's a double feature service day! While some students are jumping on buses and heading to Wuda Ogwa to do land restoration, we have another, more local opportunity in Nibley! Join us as we honor the legacy of Val Christensen by spending a couple of hours planting bareroot plants at the Nibley property of Stokes Nature Center in Nibley (just west of Ridgeline High School). These plants are part of a large scale project that will showcase many types of habitats we find in Utah in an outdoor classroom setting. *Please bring a shovel for digging if you have one, and be prepared with water and sun protection. There are no bathroom facilities on the property.* Optional carpool available with registration.
