USU Observatory Public Viewing Night

Public Viewing Night at the USU Observatory, 9-11 pm, on the roof of the Science Engineering Research (SER) Building on the USU Logan campus. Admission is FREE and all are welcome. The event is hosted by the USU Department of Physics. Viewing targets for the evening will be the Moon, Saturn, M2 globular cluster, the Double Cluster and the Ring Nebula. To reach the observatory, enter the first floor of the SER building and go to the freight elevator at that floor's northwest corner.

Note: The observatory telescope is accessible by stairs only from the roof's deck.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Public Viewing Night will be cancelled in the event of cloudy or inclement weather. Before arrival on Sept. 18, please check the USU Observatory website for updates: https://artsci.usu.edu/physics/observatories/public-nights
