Engineering 360° - Jim Cantrell: From USU to the New Space Race

Utah State University alum Jim Cantrell is a cofounder of SpaceX and one of the architects of today’s commercial space revolution. He has since launched or advised a host of other entrepreneurial ventures, including Phantom Space, Iceye, York Space, StratSpace, Skybox Imaging, and more, as well as working on assignments at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the French Space Agency. Jim has participated in over 46 satellite flight missions and pioneered concepts such as software-defined satellites and micro-launch vehicles. Whether you’re interested in aerospace, entrepreneurship, or simply hearing from a USU alum who helped shape the modern space industry, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
