Utah's Land, Water, and Air On-Campus Student Discussion

Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies in the LSB while you learn about the latest research on Utah's land, water, and air! The Janet Quinney Lawson Institute for Land, Water, and Air is hosting a student event to discuss key topics from the recently released 2025 Report to the Governor and Legislature on Utah's Land, Water, and Air. This report highlighted multiple concepts relevant to Utah's natural resource policy, spanning the cut flower industry, water and the Great Salt Lake, the science of airplane contrails, and more! Research in this report was primarily sourced from our outstanding faculty at USU and earned praise from legislators and scientists who gathered in Salt Lake City at the release event on October 16th. The student activity will feature a presentation, open discussion, and light refreshments.
