Tony Lueken: Inside GE Healthcare Operations

Tony brings more than 25 years of leaderships experience at GE Healthcare, a global medical technology company that designs and delivers complex healthcare systems used in hospitals and clinical settings worldwide. He began his career in finance as a senior accountant and advanced in the business as the finance manager for supply chain, services and commercial functions. He also led the FP&A function before moving to CFO of the Image Guided Therapies (IGT) Business with offices in the US, Germany, France and China.

After 20 years in finance, he leveraged his finance expertise to guide the supply chain operations for the IGT business which led to his current position as Surgery CEO leading a $1B business with headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah with a key business hub in Beijing, China.

He will be joined by Jon Lea, a senior leader with extensive experience in engineering and technical leadership. Together, they will share perspectives from their careers in global healthcare organizations, reflecting on leadership, experience, and the realities of working within complex, highly regulated industries.

This session offers students the opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders about their professional journeys, the environments they have worked in, and the kinds of challenges and decisions that shape large organizations over time.
