Artist Talk and Reception with Tyrell Tapaha

In conjunction with the Communitas Lecture Series, join us for a talk by artist Tyrell Tapaha, who is featured in NEHMA's newest exhibition Exploding Native Inevitable. Tyrrell Tapaha is a Diné weaver and fiber artist, with their predominant medium being Diné-style weaving. Tapaha’s work encompasses the intergenerational pastoral living handed down through their grandfather, great-grandmother, and other relatives. The lecture will be followed by a reception at NEHMA.
